Stir-fried Bitter gourd with Pork

  • 1 bitter gourd250 1 clove of garlic, minced5
  • 1 tablespoon of chicken stock (powdered)15 1 tablespoon of water5
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper5 2 teaspoons of salt10
  • 2 teaspoons of soy sauce10 Cooking oil10
  • Lean pork50

Cooking Method

  • Step 1
    Cut the pork into strips, and marinate it with salt, chicken stock and pepper for 30 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Wash the bitter gourd, remove the seeds, then cut it into rings. (Note: to reduce the bitterness, marinate the bitter gourd rings with salt for 10 minutes, then squeeze the juice out before adding to stir-fry)
  • Step 3
    In a pan, heat the cooking oil, then add garlic and the marinated pork, stir-frying until the meat turns brown.
  • Step 4
    Add the bitter gourd rings into the pan and continue to stir-fry with the meat. Add soy sauce to taste and water to increase moisture.
