Hong Kong-Style Satay Beef Macaroni

  • Beef300 gBlack pepper4 g
  • Carrot1 quantityCelery1 stick
  • Macaroni400 gOnions (sliced)1 quantity
  • Salt, table4 gWater600 ml

Cooking Method

  • Step 1
    Pour water into a large pot and bring it to boil.
  • Step 2
    Add the onion, carrot and celery into the pot and allow it to boil at low heat for 5 mins. Add the uncooked macaroni and cook for around 20 minutes until the macaroni softens.
  • Step 3
    While the macaroni gets cooked, grill the satay beef in the oven for a few minutes. When the satay beef turns a nice brown colour and becomes tender, take them out of the oven and let them cool.
  • Step 4
    Once cooked, transfer into serving bowls, sprinkle some salt and pepper and serve.
